This week's The World Party features Italo disco. Italo disco is a music genre which originated in Italy and was mainly produced in 1980s. However, it is starting to make a come-back and many artists from that time period are producing new Italo disco songs. Italo disco evolved from the then-current underground dance, pop, and electronic music, both domestic and foreign and developed into a diverse genre.
