Night Tunes 11-19-12

One of the continuing acknowledgements of the greatness of Johann Sebastian Bach's music is how well it lends itself to all manner of arrangement and transcription. This week the Jacques Loussier Trio offers remarkable jazz treatments of two of the Brandenburg Concertos. You'll also be treated to some of the "Water Music" by Bach's illustrious contemporary, George Frideric Handel (as Handel wrote it); transcriptions for guitar of French piano music; the lovely voice of Eva Cassidy; and a couple of tunes by an enterprising indie band from Sweden.
